Opportunities in Visual Arts
Outside of the studio, Sonora offers additional avenues for students to be involved in the visual arts

Art Club is a student run organization that arranges activities such as tie dye days, collaborative drawing, mural painting, and more. It is a place for all Sonora artists to meet together and share a love of art!

Art Competitions & Shows
There are multiple gallery shows students can submit to throughout the year. Our biggest is the District Art show held at the Muckenthaler in January. This is a juried art show where students can win recognition and prizes for their artwork.
